Solo 3days built Patrick Star house to survive in the forest

Diving into a three-day bushcraft adventure, I decided to build a survival shelter inspired by Patrick Star’s dome, using only forest materials. Near a stream, I scooped clay, mixed it with straw, and molded a sturdy, six-foot-wide structure, smoothing the walls for a waterproof seal. I wove vines and leaves into a camouflaged archway, creating a hidden entrance that blended into the wild. Inside, I carved a cozy nook, lining it with moss and leaves, and dug a fire pit with a bamboo chimney to vent smoke—keeping me warm under the stars. The clay kept me cool by day and toasty by night!

I even caught freshwater shrimp with a leaf trap baited with insects, a trick from my grandma, and cooked them over the fire. Foraging berries and boiling stream water, I felt alive. Leaving at 01:52 AM +07 on September 13, 2025, I was hooked—bushcraft is my wild connection to nature!
