“Living underground for a week inside a massive tree—nature’s best hideaway. 🌳 #SoloSurvival #UndergroundLiving”

For seven days, I lived completely alone in the forest, immersing myself in the rhythm of bushcraft life. My main project was to build a shelter hidden inside a giant fallen tree—a natural refuge carved entirely by hand. This massive, ancient tree lying across the forest floor provided the perfect base to craft a warm and secret home, blending with the wilderness.

The work involved cutting, shaping, and sealing the inside of the tree with clay and wood to create a cozy living space. Using only hand tools, I methodically carved out the shelter, making sure it was secure and insulated to protect me from the cold nights. I also built a small fireplace inside to keep warm, which became the heart of my shelter during my stay.

Outside, the shelter looked like nothing more than a fallen log, perfectly camouflaged and blending naturally with the forest floor. Inside, it was a peaceful and inviting home glowing warmly with firelight. The silence, occasional crackle of the fire, and natural sounds of the forest created a deeply meditative atmosphere, far from modern distractions.

Throughout the week, I relied only on nature, patience, and traditional bushcraft skills. The experience was both physically demanding and mentally refreshing, teaching me resilience and self-reliance. Living off-grid in such close harmony with the forest was a powerful reminder of how humans can coexist with nature.

By the end of my stay, the shelter felt like a true sanctuary—a safe and comfortable place made from the earth itself. This video captures the essence of solo survival, handmade shelters, and the beauty of living off-grid, step by step, in the heart of the forest.
