I undertake a monumental task that spans 50 days—transforming a giant tree stump filled with rocks into a sturdy, safe, and warm underground shelter. Every day, I chip away at the rock and work the materials by hand, building a home that is deeply connected to its natural surroundings. This long process is a true test of patience, skill, and determination as I craft a shelter fit for survival camping alone.
The shelter is carved carefully within the tree stump, using tools to break and shape the rocky interior into a livable space. I make sure the structure is strong and secure while working slowly to maintain the integrity of the stump. This underground house becomes a refuge that shields me from the elements and blends seamlessly with the forest floor above, offering both protection and camouflage.
Throughout this period, I rely completely on primitive survival skills and resourcefulness.
